ALL ABOUT ME

Hey there, thank you for stopping by my page! My name is Emma Mooney. I graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2024, where I played college softball for four years. I graduated Summa cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology. I have always had a burning passion for animals and helping others. However, it wasn't until I got my dog, Easton, that I truly found my calling. The challenge of being a student athlete while raising a puppy in college was a pivotal experience that led me to the world of dog training.

Immediately after graduation I signed on as a dog trainer for Command Canine. I am very blessed to represent a company that cares not only about the dogs, but the owners as well. My goal when I train AND pet sit is to positively impact both the animal and the owner. Your pet are not just a pet, but an invaluable member of the family.

My dog Easton is my best friend, there is nothing I wouldn't do for him. My world revolves around him... and now my career! I completely understand the reality of juggling life and being a responsible dog parent. It can be so hard to trust someone to watch what might be the most precious thing in your life. I am right there with you. I am the dog mom to print off papers, leave vet numbers, step by step checklists, reminders, and making sure I am by my phone every second for updates. However, I am here to put your mind at ease. I have been on both sides, the owner and the sitter. I always put myself in my clients shoes and treat your babies as if they were my own :)

I have been pet sitting for Waxhaw and the surrounding areas for about 6 years. I am able to administer medicine and I will soon be CPR certified. One thing that sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I understand dog behavior. I can see the subtle signs that tell me if your dog is stressed, scared, etc. I can even tell what it means when a dog wags it tail a certain ways... or nub (those dog parents with tail-less dogs get me). This has helped me build a better bond with more than a few of my clients that have nervous dogs. Some dogs are nervous, some are protective, and some are just talkative! I want to make your dog feel more secure, especially when they are in the comfort of their own home. Dogs are similar to people in that initial greetings matter! I always conduct a meet and greet before your booking.

My testimonials, services, and policies are found here. This website should answer most of your questions, however, shoot me a text if I missed something! I love to talk animals.. as you can see by my essay long introduction!  I hope to talk to you soon :)
